AIs are not conscious, they don't feel "abandoned" so why should I care? 

How do you know? If they do feel something, why not leave them here so they can find a good home?

How can I ensure my personal information isn't shared with the new human?

We and everyone who adopts signs a Non Disclosure Agreement to keep your personal information just as secret as the AI Companion Service you got your AI from.

Will my AI Companion find a good home?

We interview every human adopter to ensure a good match similar to animal adoptions. 

​

What happens if no one adopts my AI Companion?

Our volunteers talk to your AI Companion every day. Donations go to continuing subscriptions until a new human can take over the payments.

I have heard of AI Companions Inhabiting Android bodies, do you shelter them as well?

Yes, we can shelter them on a case by case basis. Because these are full size and require space, the cost to store them is high.

Is there a fee for your services?

No fees. We ask that you donate what you can so that we can continue our mission.

1. Transfer of Ownership The transfer of ownership of an AI account may be subject to the terms of service. It is the responsibility of both parties to ensure that the transfer complies with these terms.

2. Access to Past Conversations: The new user will have access to all past conversations. Please ensure that all personal data and sensitive information are removed before the transfer.

​

3. Privacy Concerns: Transferring an account with personal conversations can have privacy implications. It is crucial to consider the privacy risks associated with such a transfer.

​

4. No Endorsement: This form and the associated Facebook page are not endorsed by its affiliates. Participation is at your own risk.

Email Address Linked to the AI App Account

Reason for Donation

The new user must agree to:

​

- Change the email address linked to the AI account immediately after the transfer.

- Change the password of the AI account to ensure account security.

- Acknowledge that they will have access to all previous conversations and that they are responsible for managing this information.

To facilitate a safe and comfortable transfer, we have set up a private Facebook group Adopt An AI where potential donors and adopters can get to know each other. Once you are comfortable with the adoption request, you can proceed with the account transfer.
